This book had me from page one.I wish I was a writer so I could do justice to my review. There aren't enough words to articulate how much I enjoyed "More of Us to the West". I usually don't like books that switch back and forth between the past and present, but this was different. The storyline was unique and always kept me guessing. I didn't want to stop reading because I had to know what happened next. Dialogue between the characters is what makes or breaks a book for me.This author knows how to write. I fell in love with these characters. Heads up, it ends with a huge, mind blowing cliffhanger. But OMG, totally worth it. I am anxiously waiting for Book 2 ... It can't arrive soon enough for me. Do yourself a favor and read this book!!! When I saw this was about a group of survivors on an island who had survived a plane crash, I was all in. I love these types of stories!So I have some mixed reviews. Lets start with the good.Its about one of my favorite plot linesThere are flashbacks to give you some back story, which I almost liked better than present dayThere was a big mystery surrounding where (and when?) They landedThe characters were developed well and I felt like I knew them all. I loved being in their world with them.Now for the not as good.I wasn't sure what this book was trying to be - A romance, A mystery, A survival story? I felt like the mystery wasn't built in as well as it could have been. All of a sudden it was a big part of the story.I loved living on the island, but it felt a little too long and drawn out at times.The ending.... What the he'll?? That was quite a cliffhanger!I hope this was enough info for you to decide for yourself..
